I am a passionate educator who is purely driven on enhancing children's learning experiences and life chances. My main aim is to ensure that all children thrive in a culture of respect, build resilience, develop curiosity about the world around them, think big and dream big, nurture positive learning behaviours and make excellent progress throughout our school so they are ready to face their next chapter.
Hazra MehzaAssistant Headteacher
Working at ECS is a real privilege as I love working with children within my own community. I want children to leave ECS not only reaching their academic potential, but also to be kind, respectful citizens of the world. When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends as well as exploring as many new countries as I can.
Olasimbo SimisaiyeAssistant Headteacher
I am very happy and privileged to be part of the ECS family of educators. Teaching is a passion of mine and I have been in the industry for many years.
I have held different roles in my teaching career; however, Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND) has been the most significant for me. I believe all children have potential and the ability to succeed within their individual capacity. I am therefore keen to ensure that barriers to learning are mitigated as much as possible for all children.
Making a difference to the lives of children is an unquantifiable experience and I am privileged to be part of this process for children, many of whom, in the length of my career, have gone on to be successful in their own rights.
Kerry MarshallAssistant Headteacher (Inclusion)
I feel extremely lucky to be a part of the Eastbury Community School team, striving for all children to be happy, to have a love of learning and to always feel safe at school. I feel very strongly that as an educator my role is to make sure all children make excellent progress and for them to leave primary school ready for the next stage in their education with big dreams and aspirations for their future.
Outside of school, I spend my weekends with family and friends, but I like nothing better than finding some peace and quiet to curl up with a good book!
Simon HackPrimary Leader of Learning
I am very happy and privileged to join the ECS team. I have been a teacher for 10 years and I have thoroughly enjoyed every year. I am now looking forward to my next chapter in my career at Eastbury Community School. I love teaching every subject but my favourite subject to teach is maths. In my own time, outside of work, I love to go the gym and bake cakes. I love animals and I have a pet dog called Otis. He is a large cockapoo and he is crazy!
