I am delighted to welcome you to the Eastbury Community School Primary website.

At Eastbury, we offer a rich and varied curriculum beyond the core subjects. Every child learns to play a different musical instrument each year, supported by specialist music teachers, with the opportunity to loan instruments for home practice. Our Spanish curriculum is delivered by a native-speaking teacher from Nursery through to Year 6, giving our pupils a strong foundation in modern languages. Physical development is championed through specialist PE teaching, and from Year 3 onwards, children benefit from swimming lessons throughout Key Stage 2, developing life-saving skills and confidence in the water. Our Forest School programme further enriches our curriculum, offering children memorable outdoor learning experiences that nurture resilience, teamwork, and a love of the natural world.

Our achievements have been recognised nationally. We are proud to be a Gold Rights Respecting School, and our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) has been accredited as an Area of Excellence through Challenge Partners, where we also lead in Student Leadership. Our dedication to early reading and phonics has been rewarded with the Silver Sounds-Write Accreditation, and our commitment to high-quality science teaching has earned us the Primary Science Quality Mark (PSQM) Gilt Award. In addition, our work in sustainability has been recognised with the prestigious Green Flag Eco Award.
