Psychology

Psychology is the study of the brain and behaviour. It investigates, through scientific research, why people behave in the way they do. It attempts to find causal explanations for behaviour and develop ways of treating or reducing maladaptive behaviour. You will study mental processes and behaviour in the context of real-life experiences. This course is for those who have an enquiring mind, like to think critically and wish to gain an understanding of how humans think, develop, socialise and interact with each other.
